KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The sexual and gender minority community has officially registered a new political party, the ‘Samabesi Samajbadi Party’, with the Election Commission. The party, chaired by Numa Limbu, received its registration certificate on Tuesday.
Party spokesperson Bishwaraj Adhikari said the party aims to ensure representation of sexual and gender minorities in all state bodies. He criticized mainstream political parties for treating the community as a “vote bank” without securing their rights.
