Secys, department chiefs inspect road expansion works in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: A group of secretaries and chiefs in the concerned ministries and departments led by Krishna Hari Banskota, secretary at Prime Minister’s Office inspected different roads being expanded in Kathmandu valley on Saturday morning.



Under the direction of the Prime Minister, various secretaries and chiefs including Banskota, secretaries of Ministry of Energy, Communication and Information, Local Development, Urban Development, and Construction and Physical Planning were in the inspection team.[break]



The team also briefed the current situation of the ongoing expansion drive to PM Baburam Bhattarai.



During the meeting, PM Bhattarai instructed to move ahead with the expansion drive in integrated ways. He also urged to complete the works at the earliest as the public have been affected due to delay.



On the occasion, PM also expressed his commitment to provided necessary resources in order to complete the ongoing expansion works.
