Khotang, March 9: The Diktel English Boarding School of Khotang has donated books to inmates at the district prison, as a noble effort to mark its silver jubilee celebrations.

A total of 46 books worth Rs. 21,000 was handed over to the Chief of the prison Chitrakhar Acharya amid a function held on Wednesday. The books were donated with the objective of helping increase knowledge and awareness of the prisoners, the school board of directors chair Nurkaji Sainju said. The school had also distributed 15 sets of blankets to the district hospital. The school was founded in 2048 B.S. RSS
