A full court meeting on Wednesday decided to open the court from September 19 to October 3 to look into habeas corpus cases. However, the SC will be closed on Ghataspathana, on Saturday and on Vijayadashami.
Justices Prem Sharma, Balram KC, Girish Chandra Lal, Gauri Dhakal, Prakash Osti, Bharat Raj Uprety, Tahir Ali Ansari, Rana Bahadur Bam, Ram Prasad Shrestha, Mohan Prakash Sitaula and Top Bahadur Magar have been appointed for Dashain vacation. The meeting also decided to inspect and monitor 16 appellate courts and district courts.
The full court passed a condolence message on the demise of SC´s former justice Laxman Prasad Aryal who died on Wednesday.
