KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The government has appointed Sangita Pahadee as the Managing Director (MD) of Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited (Nepal Telecom).

The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to appoint her for a term of four years.
Previously, Pahadee had been serving as the Acting MD of Nepal Telecom since the second week of Ashwin 2080 (September-October 2023). Back then, Pahadee was the Deputy MD and was assigned the role of Acting MD until further arrangement by the government.
