Mumbai Police have issued a gun license to Bollywood actor Salman Khan for his own protection based on an application citing death threats on Monday.

According to the reports, Salman Khan met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Vishwas Nangre Patil this month. According to the report of officials of Mumbai Police, Salman Khan has been issued an arms license after he applied for a weapon license for self-protection in the backdrop of threat letters that he recently received from the Bishnoi gang.
Similarly, it has been reported that Salman Khan has also upgraded his regular car into a bulletproof land cruiser fitted with armor.
