Sajha Party to field Kishor Thapa  as candidate for Kathmandu mayor

KATHMANDU, April 14: Sajha Party has said that it will field Kishor Thapa as a candidate for the elections of Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).

Thap is the central coordination committee member of Sajha Party led by Rabindra Mishra.

 Thapa will contest the local elections in the capacity of an independent candidate as per the Elections Act.

 Architect engineer Thapa was secretary at the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation before retiring from the job.

Thapa was working as an international expert for National Residential Policy Making of Myanmar before joining Mishra-led party.

Master’s Degree holder in urban planning,Thapa was the  SLC Board topper of 2031 BS.
