Saipal, Ace in final

KATHMANDU: Saipal Academy and Ace Higher Secondary School set up a final showdown in the First GIHE Inter-college Football Championship on Friday.



Saipal thrashed Little Angels´ 9-0 while Ace defeated the host GEMS Institute of Higher Education (GIHE) 3-0 in the semifinals played at host´s ground in Dhapakhel on Friday. [break]



Sabin Karki scored a hat-trick in Saipal´s victory while Rojan Thapa and Santosh Dijali added two goals each. Rabin Karki and Rupesh Adhikari were also on the scoresheet. Meanwhile, Bikrant Rana scored a brace and Atul Gautam netted one to seal victory for Ace. The final match will be played on Saturday.
