The award established by the Oxford International Publication decided to award Thapa for his great contribution to Nepali language and literary sector for the past seven decades.
The award carries a purse of Rs. 70,101.Similarly, the Publication has decided to award youth scientist Rijan Karki with Shami Youth Encouragement Prize.The award carries a purse of Rs. 25,101.
Both the prizes will be given away on March 1, according to Chairman of the Publication, Dolendra Prasad Sharma.
