RSP urges disadvantaged candidates to apply for election fee waiver

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has assured prospective candidates they will not be barred from contesting the upcoming elections due to their inability to pay the application fee.



The party requested that members who wish to file candidacy under the proportional representation system but cannot afford the fee during the submission of the required documents by December 8.

RSP said that a decision on fee waiver needs to be finalized quickly and urged candidates to send their documents within the deadline.


After reviewing the submissions, the party secretariat will make the final decision on granting fee exemptions by December 11.


Documents can be submitted to the Candidate Selection Committee at RSP’s central office or via email at candidateselectionrsp@gmail.com. The party emphasized that this process ensures equal opportunities for economically disadvantaged members.
