RPP-N boycotts House

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party - Nepal (RPP-N) boycotted the House meeting protesting the government decision to shift the bust of King Tribhuvan from the Shahid Gate to the Narayanhiti Palace Museum.



The government had decided to remove the statue of the king on Monday.



RPP-N has four seat in the Constituent Assembly.



The Shahid Gate has a statue of King Tribhuvan atop the statues of four martyrs -- Shukraraj Shastri, Dasharath Chand, Dharma Bhakta Mathema and Gangalal Shrestha.
