The three-day conference began under the slogan of ´building prosperous and stable Nepal based on Hindu nation, democracy, national integrity and economic liberalization.´
The conference is attended by district presidents, vice-presidents, secretaries and chiefs of sister organizations and active cadres. [break]
Inaugurating the conference, party Chairman Kamal Thapa said his party was an emerging power in the country which has assimilated people´s aspiration within five to seven years. The future of the country could not be charted by negating his emerging party, he said, expressing commitment that the abolished monarchy would be restored by his party.
"The Mohan Baidya-led party resorted to street protest due to the authoritarian character of the big four parties. Constituent Assembly election can´t be meaningful by sideling the Baidya-led party. So, amicable atmosphere should be created to ensure all parties´ participation in election," he stressed.
Co-Chairman of the party, Padma Sundar Lawoti, said the party needs to be ready to solve country´s problems and the big leaders could field candidacy for the direct election.
Senior leader Bishwo Bandhu Thapa said that the nationality was at stake now, so people´s voice for the nationality should be strengthened.
Another leader Keshar Bahadur Bista said the country was full of problems all because of the political leaders who served personal interests in the name of people and the country.
