KATHMANDU, April 12: The District Administration Office, Kathmandu released Rishi Dhamala from its detention on Sunday following an order from the Patan Appellate Court, according to our correspondent Yuvraj Acharya.

He was released from the DAO premises.
Dhamala, who was arrested in the capital on February 3, was greeted by executives of Federation of Nepali Journalists.
The Reporters Club Nepal chief is facing charges of arms and ammunitions (slapped by the DAO), and attempt to murder and kidnapping by police.
