Report on alleged graft in party to be out by next week: Sherchan

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: UCPN (Maoist) leader Amik Sherchan, who heads the probe commission formed by the party to investigate alleged corruption in the party, said on Monday that the panel is preparing to make public its reports on the graft allegations in the next week.



Speaking at a program organized by the Reporters Club Nepal in the capital this afternoon, Sherchan said the investigation into the fund misappropriation complaints received will be over in the next two days and  that the commission will make public the final report by Sept 26. [break]



Among the 65 complaints received , 20 were suggestions, Sherchan informed, adding that complaints against top brass and other leaders were received.



He also underlined that there is no alternative to reinstatement of the dissolved CA to end the current political deadlock.
