Reconstruction Fund secures additional  Rs 15 million

A total of Rs 118.2 million has been deposited into the fund so far, according to the Ministry of Finance.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has provided support amounting to Rs 15 million to the Physical Infrastructures Reconstruction Fund established by the government.



The fund was established for the reconstruction of physical infrastructures damaged during the Gen Z protests that occurred on September 8 and 9.

Spokesperson at the Finance Ministry, Tanka Prasad Pandey, said Chairperson of Board of Directors of the Company, Govinda Lal Sanghai, Director Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal and Chief Executive Officer Prabin Raman Parajuli, jointly handed over the voucher to Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal on Monday. 


The Company contributed such amount to the Fund under its corporate social responsibility for reconstruction, economic revival and relief purposes.


A total of Rs 118.2 million has been deposited into the fund so far, according to the Ministry of Finance.
