CM Pandey extends best wishes on Gandaki Province Establishment Day
GANDAKI, Feb 4: The Gandaki Province government is observing a public holiday today.
The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers issued a press statement stating that a holiday has been announced in the province on the occasion of Gandaki Province Establishment Day. Accordingly, all government offices, academic institutions, and public corporations will remain shut today.

The decision was taken by the provincial government council of ministers," according to a notice issued by Suran Prasad Sharma Poudel, under secretary of the office.
Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has stated that with the implementation of federalism, the provincial government has been advancing towards sustainable development while embracing good governance, prosperity, and social justice.
Extending his best wishes to the people of the province on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of its establishment, he emphasized that the government has upheld constitutional values, principles, and existing laws while embracing coordination, coexistence, and cooperation to strengthen democracy and good governance.
CM Pandey highlighted that since its inception, the Gandaki provincial government has been maturing by establishing policies, legal frameworks, and institutional structures. He reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling its vision of "Self-reliant and Prosperous Province: Happy Citizens." He stressed the need for collective efforts to ensure inclusive, sustainable, and equitable development while delivering efficient public services and strengthening good governance in line with the spirit of federalism.
"The government has been formulating and implementing policies and programs aimed at achieving sustainable development goals by promoting physical infrastructure, education, health, employment, agriculture, tourism, and entrepreneurship," CM Pandey stated in his message.
