Province government decides to provide Rs 100,000 each to the family affected by Bajhang landslide

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Sudurpaschim Province government has decided to provide relief to the family of Bir Bahadur Dhami, who lost four members in a landslide that occurred at his home in Bajhang.

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Sudurpaschim Province government has decided to provide relief to the family of Bir Bahadur Dhami, who lost four members in a landslide that occurred at his home in Bajhang.



Expressing grief over the tragic loss of life in the landslide, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah announced to provide relief to the victim’s family. Shah has mentioned that relief of Rs 100,000 will be provided for each deceased family member.

The landslide, which occurred last night, claimed the lives of Dhami's wife, daughter-in-law and two-granddaughters from Tumedagaon, Bungal Municipality-10, Bajhang.


Six other individuals, including Dhami, managed to escape and save their lives.
