Property worth Rs 2 million gutted

RAJBIRAJ, Dec 24: Property worth over Rs 2 million destroyed after a fire broke out due to an electric shock in a hardware shop in Rajbiraj-3 early this morning. The fire was brought under control with the help of firefighters and police personnel.



On the other hand, businesspersons have been protesting against the incident alleging the fire was set by the YCL cadres. Shop owner Shankar Das said central member of YCL Umesh Yadav had threatened him some days ago.



Markets have been shut down in Rajbiraj after the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Rajbiraj chapter, protested against the incident.
