Kathmandu, June 19: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala have held discussions at the President's official residence at Shital Niwas today.

PM Koirala called on President Yadav to inform about the preparation on bringing an ordinance regarding the formulation of a high level authority for the reconstruction in the earthquake damaged areas, said President Yadav's press advisor Rajendra Dahal.

The government was preparing to issue the ordinance as the parliamentary session was not in operation these days.

It is scheduled that the ordinance would be approved from the meeting of the Council of Ministers today itself.

The government was preparing to form such an authority before the international donors' conference scheduled for June 25 in the capital aimed at garnering more supports for the post-quake reconstruction. RSS
