According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Arun Paudel, Ankat Gurung, 19, and Ashish Upreti, 19, of Bharatpur Municipality-10 and Saroj Baral of Gaidakot in Nawalparasi district were arrested on the basis of pictures captured in CCTV.[break]
Police said that they had vandalized the vehicles during Tihar in inebriated condition.
They had vandalized vehicles of Roman Shrestha, Resham Prasad Regmi, Narayan Lamichhane, Bhuwan Nepali, Jayaram Shrestha, Pawan Kumar Piya and Harka Chhetri.
Necessary action against them has been started, said Paudel.Police also confiscated a motorcycle (Na 19 Pa 7734) of Saroj Baral used by them.
