A senior police source confirmed that the strategy is to suppress the protest right from the start. The violent demonstration on Friday resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
The protests left 53 Nepal Police officers, 22 Armed Police Force personnel, and 35 protesters injured.
The protesters damaged 15 vehicles, both government and private. The police reported that fires were set in 14 locations, vandalism occurred in 9 locations, and looting took place in one location.
As a result, the police are actively implementing a strategy to bring under control the monarchist movement right from the start of today's protest.
