KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Pokhara Thunders secured their first victory in the Nepal Super League (NSL) on Saturday, defeating FC Chitwan 1-0.
The winning goal was scored by foreign player Moses Gyabaah Twum during the match held at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu. With this win, Pokhara adds 3 points to their league standing.

Ayush Ghalan, the marquee player for Pokhara, expressed his enthusiasm after the team's first win. He said, "Our goal is to win the league, and winning the first match has boosted our confidence."
Dinesh Rajbanshi from Pokhara was awarded the Man of the Match, receiving a prize of Rs 30,000.
