The taskforce comprises a representative each from the Ministry of Labor and Transportation and the Ministry of Home Affairs. "The government will come up with appropriate measures after the taskforce submits its report to the government within a week," said Paudyal.
Altogether 59 people were killed in road accidents in the past 25 days alone. According to reports, the number of the people killed in road accidents has been increasing.
Altogether 17,796 people have died in road accidents in the past 17 years.
