KATHMANDU, March 25: Japan has signed a grant agreement with Love Green Nepal to digitalize classrooms at the university’s Campus of International Languages, in a move to modernize Japanese language education at Tribhuvan University.
Maeda Toru, ambassador of Japan to Nepal, signed the grant contract with Amira Dalli, President of Love Green Nepal, in a ceremony witnessed by Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal.
The project, supported under Japan’s Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects (GCGP), carries a total grant of USD 64,885 (approximately Rs 9.3 million). It aims to replace outdated equipment with electronic smart boards, renovate classrooms, and install ergonomic furniture to create an interactive learning environment.
