PM to address House today

As per the agenda, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to respond to questions raised by members of parliament. According to the House Regulations (2079), a direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister is arranged in the first week of every month.

KATHMANDU, June 20: The House of Representatives (HoR) will convene today at 11 am at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.


As per the agenda, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to respond to questions raised by members of parliament. According to the House Regulations (2079), a direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister is arranged in the first week of every month.

Additionally, today’s meeting will include discussions on the Appropriation Bill 2082, with grouped deliberations planned on budget allocations for six ministries. These include the ministries of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Youth and Sports; Physical Infrastructure and Transport; Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Industry, Commerce and Supplies; and Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
