PM Oli launches HPV vaccination campaign (Photo Feature)

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has officially launched a free HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer across the country starting today.

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has officially launched a free HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer across the country starting today.


PM Oli launched the campaign by providing health kits to health workers of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3 at a special program organized by the Ministry of Health and Population at Shivapuri Secondary School in Maharajgunj on the occasion of the World Cancer Day.

This campaign is being conducted simultaneously across the country from today until February 19. Around 1.7 million girls, including those studying in classes 6 to 10 in schools across the country and those aged 10 to 14 outside schools, are set to receive this vaccine.
