Sherpa scored 42 in eight handicap game, registering a stroke's victory over South Korean golfer Yong Myan. Yong, who played in 15 handicap game managed to collect 41 score cards.
Meanwhile, in women's category, Sandhya Rai with a total 25 score clinched the game while Kalyani Moktan came second.
In the seniors' category, former Chief of Army Staff Prajwalla SJB Rana won with 35 scores while Sam Dullard won the title in the junior level with a total of 38 score cards to his belt.
A total of 84 players are competing in the Stable Ford 3/4 handicap format which will see three games being played. The winning players were felicitated by Gorkha Brewery Pvt Assistant Managing Director Surendra Silwal and Gorkarna Golf Club Chair Suhrid Ghimire. RSS
