BIRATNAGAR, Oct 5: A patient on Monday afternoon committed suicide by jumping off the roof of the Biratnagar-based Biratnagar Hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Amrit Gajmer, 53, of Miklajung Rural Municipality-3, Morang. He jumped off the second story of the hospital. He was undergoing treatment at the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after having breathing difficulties.
Morang Police said that a probe into the incident is underway.
