TAMGHAS (Gulmi), Jan 16: Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala today viewed that the NC leadership should be handed over to the new generation.

She also urged NC leadership to hand over the responsibility to run the party to new generation after retiring 'old' party leaders, who she said, should play the role of guardian instead. Koirala, who reached Gulmi as part of her campaign to garner support for herself to run for NC presidential elections in upcoming NC 13th General Convention, was speaking at a press conference organised by Nepal Press Union in Tamghas, Gulmi.

Stating that she was ready to run for party's new president in the convention, Koirala said that no force on earth would deter her from doing so. "I have understood the world and I can lead youth as NC president. NC cannot run through conventional way anymore," she said. RSS
