KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The Ministry of Health and Population has appointed Dr Rajendra Panta as the director general of the Department of Health Services, said Health Minister's advisor Pratap Poudel.

The decision was taken on Thursday by the ministerial decision. Earlier, Dr Panta was the director of Child Health Division.
Similarly, the government has forwarded the process to set up the Rapti Health Sciences Institute by upgrading the existing Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital. RSS
