Over dozen injured in Chandranigahapur clash

RAUTAHAT, Oct 2: Over a dozen people sustained injuries during a clash between the cadres of United Democratic Madheshi Morcha (UDMF) and security personnel in Chandranigahapur of Rautahat district on Friday afternoon.

More than 12 people, including six police personnel, were injured when police lobbed dozens of tear gas shells and fired rubber bullets in the air to take the situation under control. Bhagya Narayan Mahato of Bishrampur was critically injured after being hit in the head by rubber bullet.All the injured received treatment at a nearby clinic and their situation is normal, informed Anil Singh, a UDMF leader.
