BIRGUNJ, Nov 30: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the President of the Nepali Congress, has accused the communists of posing themselves as a stumbling block to the amendment to the constitution.

Addressing an election rally organized in Birgunj, Deuba said the Nepali Congress has been voicing in favor of Medhesi people and vowed to fulfill their demands through the amendment of the constitution if he were elected in the upcoming elections.


“NC was always in favor of Madhesi people and will remain so to safeguard the rights and interest of the Madhesi people,” said Deuba.
