NEPALGUNJ, Aug 9: A woman died of COVID-19 in Banke district on Sunday.
The 70-year-old woman from Kohalpur Municipality-2 breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur, confirmed Ram Bahadur Kurungwang, the chief district officer.

With this, Banke district has reported a total of three deaths as of Sunday.
Earlier, a 24-year-old young man from Narainapur Rural Municipality died of this disease on May 17 and a 46-year-old woman from Baijnath Rural Municipality-6 in the district passed away on June 17.
