One killed, two injured in motorcycle collision in Dang

The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Devraj Chaudhary of Latthawa in Rapti Rural Municipality-5. He died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shahi said.

DANG, Aug 10: A collision between two motorcycles in Dang has left one person dead and two others injured.



The accident occurred on Saturday evening at Dudharas in Tulsipur-18 along the Ghorahi–Tulsipur road section when a motorcycle (registration number LuPr 02–001P 1121) traveling from Tulsipur towards Ghorahi collided head-on with another motorcycle (registration number Lu 34P 5406) coming from the opposite direction, according to the District Police Office.

The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Devraj Chaudhary of Latthawa in Rapti Rural Municipality-5. He died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shahi said.


The injured include 27-year-old Nawaraj Paudel of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5, and 18-year-old Roshan Pandit, originally from Bishrampur Rural Municipality-2 in Bara and currently residing in Tulsipur-5, who was riding pillion. Both are receiving treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur.


Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
