One killed after being hit by motorcycle

KATHMANDU, March 27: One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Nanglebhare, Kathmandu on Sunday.



Ram Bahadur Tamang, 42, resident of Nanglebhare, died last night after a collision with a motorcycle number (45-P-5441) going to Melamchi from Jaharsingh Pauwa in Shankharapur Municipality Ward No.-1

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Bhatt said that Tamang died while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital Maharajganj. He was seriously injured in the accident.


Spokesperson Bhatt said that the motorcyclist,   who was injured in the accident, was sent to Shankharapur Hospital for further treatment after primary treatment at People's Life Care Hospital in Salambutar.
