One killed, 4 injured in Gorkha truck mishap

TANAHUN, July 5: A man died and four others, including the driver, were injured when a truck skidded off the road and plunged some 200 meters down into the Daraundi River at Panchkilo of Gorkha district on Thursday morning.



The identities of the deceased and injured are not known yet. According to deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Bansant Bahadur Kunwar, the injured are being ferried to a Gorkha-based hospital for treatment. [break]



Police and locals rescued the injured. The truck was on the way to Aguwakhola to collect sandstones.
