Among the injured, two are undergoing medical treatment in a critical condition at a local hospital.
The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet.
The bus, Na 5 Kha, 3104, which was heading toward Kathmandu form Sarlahi met with an accident at Fuljorma, along the East-West Highway at round 4 am, informed Traffic Office Nawalpur, Sarlahi.

The driver had fled immidiatedly after the incidnet.
Police further said that the process of recovering the body is underway adding that thaey have launched an investigation into fleeing driver.
