KAILALI, Oct 1: A scooter accident in Rajpur, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–13, Kailali, on Tuesday night claimed the life of a 24-year-old man and left another injured.
According to police, the scooter (Su. Pra. 01011 Pa 4473), traveling toward Attariya near RP Floor Mill, went out of control and hit a road divider. The driver, Pranjal Bam, 24, from Purchaudi Municipality–8, Baitadi, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Jora, spokesperson for the Far-Western Province Traffic Police, said the accident occurred due to loss of control.
Another passenger on the scooter, 26-year-old Saroj Bam, also from Purchaudi, was injured and is receiving treatment at Maya Metro Hospital.
