Meanwhile, preparations are underway to release former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak on similar bail.
Both leaders had been under investigation for allegations of excessive use of power during the Gen Z movement on September 8. They were arrested in Bhaktapur on March 28, following a recommendation from the investigative commission to probe the incidents.
Oli and Lekhak had challenged their detention in the Supreme Court, claiming it was illegal, but their petition was dismissed. The court emphasized that no further extensions of custody should be granted while the investigation continues.
