Speaking at an interaction organized by the Reporters Club in the capital on Thursday, Lekhak accused the government of not doing any commendable job after coming to power.
"The government has not been able to fulfill even the basic needs of the common people, let alone the post-earthquake reconstruction works," said Lekhak.
Referring to Oli, Lekhak said the government has done nothing remarkable except paying mere lip-service to the people and passing acerbic remarks against political opponents.
He further said that this government has not controlled the black marketeering even though all forms of hurdles including Indian blockade, Madhes movement have ended.
Defending the current government, ruling party of the CPN-UML Secretary Pradip Gyawali said the six-month- term of the current government is satisfactory.
The government which was formed under difficult circumstances has tackled so many thorny issues including the international ties. It is a huge success, defended Gyawali.
Lauding the achievement of the government, Gyawali said it has sealed the deal on trade and transit treaty with China in a bid to make Nepal self-dependent.

Sadbhawana Party Vice Chairman Laxman Lal Karna demanded Oli’s resignation saying that his government has failed completely. He also warned that they would launch a decisive agitation unless the agreement is forged by the first week of the Nepali month of Baisakh.
