Nursing college strike called off

DHARAN, Sept 15: Students of Nursing College at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences have withdrawn their strike after an MBBS student who beat up a nursing student apologized in public.



Saroj Shah, a fourth-year MBBS student, had beaten up Ang Maya Sherpa, third year nursing student.



Shah apologized on Tuesday, following which the nursing students called off their strike from Wednesday afternoon.



The nursing students had padlocked the Nursing College Tuesday morning to protest the incident.
