DANG, July 7: The Appellate Court Tulsipur has issued interim order to four bodies under the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Dang and Salyan districts not to impose load shedding more than five hours.

The single bench of Judge Mihir Kumar Thakur issued the order Friday to the Ghorahi, Tulsipur, Lamahi and Salyan branches of NEA.[break]

Advocate Dhirendra Bahadur Shrestha had filed a writ in the court saying nine hours of load shedding was imposed which is more than the central schedule in the two districts.

If load shedding is done more by neglecting the court order, a contempt of court can be filed, said lawyer Rabindra Sharma.
