No one bold enough to hold polls: Mahato

BHAKTAPUR, March 21: Sadbhawana Party chairman Rajendra Mahato has said no one was bold enough to hold the polls slated for May 14 without amending the constitution.


Speaking at an interaction program organized by Rafat Sanchar Club in Bhaktapur, Mahato accused CPN UML, NC and Maoist Centre of halting the constitution amendment.

He warned that the country would be stuck in a bloody war if the local polls were  held without the constitution amendment.


He also accused big parties of displaying political dishonesty by reneging on their agreement on the two provinces in the Terai.


He claimed that big parties accusing Madhes-based parties of ingratiating themselves with India were, in fact, closer to India than the latter
