Speaking at an interaction program in the capital, Minister Bogati added that the project could not go ahead unless the existing hurdles are resolved. [break]
Stating that the project is being delayed due to the Chinese bank´s concerns over existing provisions in the Nepal Purchase Act, he said that the project would only be implemented after reconciling the differences with the Chinese side. The Chinese bank is providing soft loan for the project.
He further assured that a Nepali talks team has already been formed to resolve the differences and said that it would create congenial environment to restart the project after holding bilateral discussion.
