NMB Bank lead financer of Ghar Khola Hydropower Project

KATHMANDU, April 11: NMB Bank on Monday said that it has become the lead financer of Ghar Khola Hydropower Project (14 MW).

KATHMANDU, April 11: NMB Bank on Monday said that it has become the lead financer of Ghar Khola Hydropower Project (14 MW). Issuing a statement, the bank said that the project being developed by Myagdi Hydropower Pvt Ltd is located in Shikha and Ghar VDCs of Myagdi District.“NIC Asia Bank Ltd and Kailash Bikas Bank Ltd are the other lending institutions in the consortium,” the statement added.

The total project cost is Rs 2.15 billion and the consortium is financing Rs 1.69 billion, according to the bank. NMB Bank claims that it has already finance in 30 hydropower projects across the country.
