NIA directs insurance companies to settle insurance claims for damage caused by riots promptly

The NIA has directed those insurance companies to submit a weekly report on the details of the damages caused by the riots in the Kathmandu Valley.

KATHMANDU, March 30: The Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has directed all life and non-life insurance companies, as well as non-life microinsurance companies, to settle insurance claims related to damages caused to insured property due to the riots that occurred in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley on March 28, as quickly as possible.


Similarly, the NIA has directed those insurance companies to submit a weekly report on the details of the damages caused by the riots in the Kathmandu Valley.

The report should be submitted every Wednesday in Excel spreadsheet format through the Google link provided by the NIA.
