Condemning the call by United Democratic Madheshi Front and National Muslim Struggle Coalition in Rautahat to their cadres to evict police personnel and vacate police posts, the commission has urged all concerned political parties to refrain from airing views that can inflame social tensions.
"Such statement is against the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and humanitarian laws," the human rights watchdog said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has urged the government employees not to post or share things on social networks that spread hate and disturb social harmony.

Stating that some civil servants are also found involved in sharing, posting and promoting such things, the PMO has urged government employees to desist from those activities as they jeopardize peace and security.
