At the expo Finance Minister Barshaman Pun launched almost a dozen new vehicles introduced by various companies. Various models of vehicles available in the market have also been put on display at the fair. [break]
Besides, most of the companies have announced festive offer through which customers buying cars or bikes can get attractive cash discounts and gifts through lucky draw or scratch coupon.
At the show two new bikes Honda CBR 1000 RR by and Bajaj Discover 125 Sports Tourer (ST) were unveiled. Customers can get CBR 1000 RR at Rs 2.6 million and Discover 125 ST at Rs 174,900.
Syakar Trading Company, the sole authorized distributor of Honda cars has launched Insight -- a hybrid car-- for the first time in Nepal. The car combines a conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric propulsion system to generate better fuel efficiency and is priced at Rs 7.5 million.
CG Automobiles launched Maruti Suzuki´s Ertiga and New Dzire. The company has priced Ertiga from Rs 2.8 million onwards and New Dzire from 2.6 million onwards.
Skoda MAW has launched Skoda Rapid in three variants Active, Ambition and Elegance. The introductory price of active is around Rs 3 million, Ambition at around 3.38 million and the higher end Elegance is priced at around 3.7million.

"As auto show is the perfect platform to launch a vehicle we have launched Rapid in the show and we expect to sell at least 10 units of Rapid during the event," said Deepak Agrawal, general manager of Skoda MAW.
Likewise, Go Automobiles launched Focus, All New Ranger and Kuga. According to Dipesh Shakya, marketing manager of the company Focus is priced at Rs 5.4 million onwards, New Ranger is priced at Rs 4.7 million onwards and Kuga is priced at Rs 8 million onwards.
Dugar Brothers and Sons launched Nissan´s all-new Sunny which is available at an introductory price of Rs 3.75 million.
Laxmi Intercontinental has launched the new Fluidic Verna. The car is available in two options 1.4 liter and 1.6 liter VTVT petrol engine. The 1.4 liter Verna is available at around Rs 3.3million while the 1.6 liter Verna is priced at around Rs 3.7 million.
