The minor was raped twice by a gang of three Indians in Delhi -- on October 15 and November 24. [break]
Delhi-based GDF and Uttarkhand-based BGUF requested India´s Ministry of Home Affairs to immediately look into the matter and take prompt action against those involved in the crime.
GDF president Samir Pradhan and BGUF president TL Shrestha submitted the memorandum to the Ministry of Home Affairs requesting to look into the matter seriously as numbers of girls of Nepali origin, who have been raped, have gone unnoticed.
Pradhan said as Nepal can´t provide protection beyond its border, incidence of rape, violence and other forms of crimes against the Nepalis have dramatically increased. Atrocities meted out to the people of Nepali origin are heinous, he added.
Parents of the minor had registered a rape case against the three Indians immediately after the first incident. Later, the three Indians lifted her again from her house and raped repeatedly before dumping her on the railway track.
According to media sources, the perverts have even threatened the minor girl to immediately withdraw the case. All the three culprits are employees of Agra Central Jail and the fate of that minor is such that she resides close to Agra Central Jail and born to a labourer.
Last year, a poor Nepali girl was gangraped by auto drivers in Delhi while she was on her way to airport. Such is the plight of Nepalis living in Delhi. Perpetrators knowingly rape Nepali girls as they know that abusing or harassing Nepali girls will have no repercussions. The saddest part is the way Delhi police have treated this rape case.
