Nepali league champion has been drawn in Group A of the President´s Cup along with Abahani Limited (Bangladesh) and Erchim FC of Mongolia. Nepal is to host the Group A matches in Kathmandu from May 7 to 11.[break]
The participating league champions of 12 countries have been divided into three groups and altogether six teams -- the winners and runners-up of each group -- will qualify for the final rounds.
According to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)´s official website, two-time champion and four-time runner-up Dordoi FC of Kyrgyzstan will travel to the Philippines for the group stage of the AFC President´s Cup 2013. Dordoi will face debutant and host Global FC, KRL Football Club of Pakistan and Yazdeen FC of Bhutan.
Cambodian champion BeoungKet Rubber FC will host the matches of Group C, which also includes Palestine champion Alquds Hilal Club, Balkan of Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka Army Sports Club.
